Last updated: 22 March 2026

The short version

CatchDate is a free scheduling tool. Use it for legitimate scheduling. Don't abuse it. Session data is stored for 7 days and then permanently deleted. The service is provided as-is with no guarantees.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using CatchDate ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of service

CatchDate is a free, no-account-required scheduling tool. It allows you to:

  1. Create up to 3 time slots with optional labels
  2. Generate a shareable "catch link" for others to pick a time
  3. View a manage page showing slot status in real time

The Service does not require registration, login, or any form of user account.

3. Data and session lifecycle

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use CatchDate to:

We reserve the right to block or restrict access for anyone violating these terms.

5. URL-based access

CatchDate uses UUID-based URLs as the sole access control mechanism. This means:

This is a convenience-tier access model, not a security guarantee. Do not use CatchDate for sensitive or confidential scheduling needs.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CatchDate and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue arising from your use of the Service.

This includes, but is not limited to, missed appointments, double-bookings, or scheduling conflicts that may arise from using the Service.

8. Intellectual property

The CatchDate name, logo, design, and source code are the property of CatchDate. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Service without permission.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Since no accounts exist, "termination" simply means the Service may become unavailable.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Queensland, Australia.

11. Contact

CatchDate does not have a dedicated support contact at this time. If you have questions about these terms, please revisit this page — it will be updated if anything material changes.
