The short version

CatchDate collects the minimum data needed to make scheduling work. We don't require accounts, don't track you across the web, and don't sell or share your data with anyone. Session data is automatically deleted after 7 days.

1. What we collect

When you create a catch link, CatchDate stores:

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, or any form of personally identifiable information. No account or login is required to use CatchDate.

2. How we use it

The data above is used solely to power the scheduling feature — displaying available times, recording which slot was chosen, and showing confirmation to both parties. That's it.

3. Where it's stored

All session data is stored in Cloudflare KV, a globally distributed key-value store operated by Cloudflare, Inc. Data is stored with a 7-day TTL (time-to-live) and is automatically and permanently deleted after that period. There is no backup, no archive, and no way to recover data after expiry.

4. Cookies and tracking

CatchDate does not use cookies, local storage, analytics scripts, or any form of user tracking. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking tools.

The only external request made by your browser is to Google Fonts for typography. This request is made directly from your browser to Google's servers and is subject to Google's privacy policy. If you prefer to avoid this, you can use a browser extension that blocks font requests.

5. Third-party services

No other third-party services are used. We do not integrate with any advertising, analytics, or data brokering platforms.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your data with any third party. The only people who can see your session data are those who have the catch link or manage link URL.

7. Your rights

Since CatchDate does not collect personally identifiable information or require accounts, there is no user data to request, export, or delete. Session data is automatically deleted after 7 days. You can also manually invalidate a session at any time using the "Start over" function on the manage page.

As an additional precaution, manage page URLs are served with noindex headers and meta tags to discourage search engine indexing in the event a manage link is accidentally shared publicly.

8. Children's privacy

CatchDate is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Since CatchDate does not collect contact information, we cannot notify users directly — please check this page periodically.

10. Contact

CatchDate does not have a dedicated support contact at this time. Since no personal data is collected, there is no account data to manage or delete. If you have questions about this policy, please revisit this page — it will be updated if anything material changes.
